 Franz Oedekoven, last stationmaster of the big goods depot Stolberg Münsterbusch, was born in Bonn and was sent on business to Stolberg about Satvey and St. Vith. With his wife Bertha he remained also after his retirement in his choice hometown. Except for his Josef all children left the small town Stolberg and moved to Berlin, Mainz and Dortmund. Franz Oedekoven sent this Stolberg greeting postcard out to a train colleague to Mainz 1897. (Postcard: Found and property of Josef Brockhoven, Euchen) |
